As the Bike Valet Coordinator, you are at the helm of managing and ensuring the safety and security of our patrons' bicycles at various high-profile events. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Supervision: Direct and support a team of Bike Valet Attendants, ensuring high standards of service and operational efficiency. Train and mentor new staff, fostering a supportive and professional environment.
Customer Service Excellence: Greet and interact with event attendees, provide information about Bike Valet services, and ensure a welcoming environment.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with event organizers and key stakeholders to tailor valet services that enhance the event experience.
Inventory Management: Keep track of all equipment and supplies, maintaining order and functionality.
Sustainability Advocacy: Champion the benefits of cycling and sustainable practices among team members and patrons.
Operational Reporting: Deliver insightful feedback and reports to management on event outcomes, operational challenges, and areas for improvement.
Collaboration: Work closely with event organizers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and execution of Bike Valet services at various venues.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in event and people management, customer service, or outdoor recreation.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time effectively.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a positive and approachable demeanor conducive to effective team leadership and customer interaction.
Demonstrated commitment to sustainable transportation and environmental stewardship, with a passion for promoting active lifestyles and community engagement.
Ability to perform basic physical tasks and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules and operational needs.
