STAR is a province-wide coordinating initiative that works to assist urban, rural and remote agencies in helping seniors to age in place.  This means we develop programs and provide information for active living, transitioning from driving, and new transportation resources that assist people to remain in their neighbourhoods.

STAR also makes transportation available, accessible, predictable, convenient and affordable for seniors by working with agencies that provide these services.  We provide technical and financial support for agencies wishing to provide transportation services to seniors.  Click here for more information on STAR Supported Ride Programs.
